Kwanzaa Caps Weeklong Celebration With Faith (Imani – this blogger’s favorite)

After six days of honoring the work that must be done to go farthest fastest and best, the seventh day recognizes that which one believes is responsible for the blessings bestowed upon us.

Imani, always on the first day of the year, is the perfect way to launch into the new year.  For with faith, all things are possible.

On a personal note: After my daughter was born some 21 years ago, I knew, unequivocally, what her name should be.

I love my Imani Linai.

Happy New Year!
